Position Overview
We are seeking Specialized Tutors to support students in juvenile justice centers. Your role will involve one-on-one or small group tutoring tailored to each learner's needs using adaptive, formative, and evidence-based techniques.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized tutoring that prioritizes academic mastery.
- Use social-emotional learning (SEL) techniques to foster student confidence.
- Support progress toward academic goals through targeted instruction and engagement.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required.
- Experience tutoring 7th - 12th grade students in ELA and Math.
- Comfort working in a juvenile justice center.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Commitment to empowering academic excellence.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday - Friday (3-4 days a week)
- 8:00am - 12:00pm
- $25/hour
