One on One Care is seeking a dependable and attentive caregiver for a female client who needs support in her home Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm (flexible).
The client has several chronic health conditions, including kidney disease requiring dialysis three times per week, a seizure disorder, Crohn’s disease, and fibromyalgia. She recently experienced a fall and must be monitored closely due to balance concerns.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with transfers and walking safely throughout the home
- Providing standby assistance with bathing and dressing
- Assisting with toileting and morning incontinence care as needed
- Monitoring the client while eating due to a history of choking
- Providing supervision for fall and seizure safety
- Offering reassurance during occasional periods of confusion or agitation
- Light housekeeping related to the client’s care
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (they are flexible on exact times)
The ideal caregiver will be patient, observant, reliable, and comfortable assisting a client who is at high risk for falls. Previous experience with seizures, mobility assistance, or medically complex clients is preferred.
