Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Iselin, NJ, for an X-ray Technician at One Oak Medical Group. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for performing radiologic imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with proper radiation safety protocols, preparing patients for X-ray examinations, maintaining imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnostic results. The technician will also maintain patient records and ensure high-quality care for all patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiology and Radiologic Technology practices
- Knowledge and application of Radiation Safety standards and protocols
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Familiarity with basic medical and diagnostic concepts in Medicine
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred but not required
