BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst at One More Child serves as a liaison between business departments and Information Technology to support organizational goals through technology solutions, process improvement, and project coordination. This role analyzes business processes, gathers and documents requirements, supports system implementations, and assists with ongoing optimization of enterprise applications and operational workflows.
The Business Systems Analyst works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to improve system effectiveness, support project delivery, and ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions. This role also supports project management activities and change management efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Partner with departments to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and automation.
- Support implementation, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise applications and business systems.
- Facilitate meetings, process discussions, and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, functional specifications, and system documentation.
- Support organizational data integrity, governance, and compliance initiatives.
- Support technology projects from initiation through implementation and post-production support.
- Support change management activities and assist with user adoption initiatives for new systems and processes.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and create training and support materials.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, procedures, and support processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist with system testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, issue logs, risk registers, and communication plans.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in business systems analysis, project coordination, business process improvement, or related technology support roles.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
- Experience supporting or participating in technology implementations, system upgrades, or organizational change initiatives.
- Experience working with enterprise business systems, CRM platforms, ERP systems, or comparable technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
- Two years of experience working with exploited persons.
- Bilingual

- Computer and systems skills include experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Mathematical abilities include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to develop intermediate mathematical formulas in Excel spreadsheets.

This job requires the ability to work in stressful conditions from time to time and remain focused for extended periods of time. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds (boxes, documents, and equipment).
