Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: 3–6 shifts per week (Day & Evening shifts available)

Pay: $11.00/ hr tips

One Love Karibbean Kitchen is a fast-growing Jamaican restaurant known for vibrant flavors, excellent customer service, and a positive team culture. We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House team as Servers/Cashiers.

Position Overview

The Front of House Server/Cashier is the face of One Love. Your job is to provide an exceptional guest experience—from greeting customers to serving food and cashing out orders. This is a fast-paced environment where strong communication and teamwork matter.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front Counter

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude
• Accurately take orders in-store and by phone
• Operate the Clover POS system for dine-in, pickup, and online orders
• Serve food efficiently at the steam table with correct portions
• Answer customer questions about menu items and specials
• Maintain strong communication with the kitchen and FOH team

Cashier Duties

• Cash out customers quickly and accurately
• Handle cash, card, and online payments
• Bag orders and ensure accuracy

Cleanliness & Organization

• Keep front counter, serving area, and beverage coolers clean and stocked
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Report low inventory to the FOH Manager

Team Support

• Assist with restocking drinks and desserts
• Communicate customer concerns to management
• Support a positive and respectful team environment

Requirements

• Strong communication skills — must enjoy interacting with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Previous restaurant/retail experience is a plus but not required
• Must maintain a clean uniform and follow company policies
