Position Overview
Greyhound Tavern is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Expo (Expediter) to join our team in Fort Mitchell, KY. As an Expo in our fine dining establishment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, guaranteeing that every dish is prepared and delivered to our guests with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to ensure all orders meet quality and presentation standards.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
- Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure consistency and adherence to Greyhound Tavern’s standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the expo station and surrounding areas.
- Support the front-of-house team by facilitating smooth service flow and addressing any order-related issues promptly.
