Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Children's Pastor to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of children within our church community. This role involves developing engaging programs, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a safe, welcoming environment for children of elementary age The Children's Pastor will collaborate with families, volunteers, and church staff to create meaningful experiences that promote faith, character development, and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate biblical teaching and spiritual programs for children.
- Lead weekly children's church services, mid week services, and special events.
- Provide mentorship and spiritual support to children and their families.
- Coordinate volunteer teams, including training and scheduling to ensure effective program delivery.
- Organize and oversee children's activities such as camps, fundraising, outreach events, and holiday programs.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes Christian values and safety.
- Collaborate with parents to support their child's spiritual development at home and in the church community.
- Manage event planning related to children's ministry initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of children's participation and progress within the ministry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or leadership roles within a church or youth organization.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills suitable for engaging children and parents alike.
