Program Analyst-FMCSA Compliance

Position Description:

You will have 3 years of experience with basic DOT compliance knowledge. Experience with project management administration and change management. This position will work a hybrid schedule with some work done remotely and some done in the office. This position can be located in any of our service areas.

What You Will Do

You will ensure the ONE Gas driver qualification program follows federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

Ensure the ONE Gas driver qualification program follows all federal, state, and local regulatory standards. Ensure documentation maintenance and program trending and analysis also meet regulatory standards.

Monitor and interpret activities of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and make recommendations to ensure internal program and processes related to driver qualifications maintains compliance.

Administer and analyze the program and maintain appropriate documentation.

Compile, verify, and/or prepare information/reports regarding DOT programs and processes.

Enhance efficiency and monitor safety and award programs and processes. Rectify any issues that arise when necessary.

Monitor and track metrics of safety and award programs. Responsible for status updates to all stakeholders.

Create and/or administer training and awareness presentations and materials. Train personnel in organizational or compliance procedures.

Collaborate with leadership to ensure that initiatives and strategy remain in alignment with overarching enterprise and EHS strategies.

Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors, key stakeholders, and others critical to the success of the programs.

What You Will Need

Knowledge of safety and award programs and processes.

Have an understanding of DOT/FMCSA federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

Experience previous experience with DOT/FMCSA regulated driver qualification programs.

Experience with program resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting.

Experience in managing driver performance and telematics software.

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

The ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors and elicit cooperation from sources including but not limited to:

• Upper Management

• Peers

• Field Employees

Previous experience with strategic and critical thinking.

Ability to effectively communicate, written and orally, with all levels of management, staff, and employees. Ability to conduct oral presentations as required.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Minimum applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other locations, including out of state.

Mobility to travel in office surroundings and around job sites out of doors.

Able to operate tools and equipment required by position.

Communicate and/or exchange information verbally.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
