Position Description
This position covers a portion of the state, but can be primarily based out of Topeka, Manhattan, or Emporia and will be fully in office when not on customer visits. This posting will close on December 15th
What You Will Do
Perform tasks relative to developing and retaining commercial and industrial accounts.
Manage development of and account activities for commercial and industrial accounts including:
Perform contract negotiations to attract new business and retain key accounts.
Develop and present sales proposals or provide gas service related information to business prospects.
Research, Analyze, Prepare, And Monitor Information Including
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in business, communications, engineering, finance, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal and the following job related experience
Working knowledge of utility industry.
Demonstrated ability to perform economic and financial project analysis.
Application of algebraic equations, and general math skills.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and related software.
Experience And Training Related To
Demonstrated ability to research and prepare account correspondence, rate agreements, usage reports, account analysis, and rate comparison.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and conduct sales meetings.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license.
Requires travel to other company locations, and to outside meetings with customers and others.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

- Usage reports
- Tariff analysis
- Rate comparisons
- Cost analysis
