Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in every delivery.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading tasks when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics management is advantageous.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, including knowledge of inventory processes.
