Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily program operations
- Ensure compliance with OCFS/SACC regulations
- Manage attendance, schedules, and activity flow
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Train and supervise staff
- Ensure proper staff-to-child ratios
- Lead staff meetings and professional development
- Communicate with parents and school partners
- Maintain program logs, injury reports, and documentation
- Prepare for inspections, audits, and ACS visits
Required Qualifications (OCFS Requirements)
Candidates must meet ONE of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree 2 years experience working with children
- Associate Degree 3 years experience
- School-Age Child Care Credential (SACC Credential) 2 years experience
- CDA 2 years experience * 18 credits in Child Development/Education 2 years experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in after-school or youth programs
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- Ability to manage staff and multitask
- Knowledge of OCFS/SACC regulations (training provided if needed)
Hours & Compensation
- School Year Hours: Monday–Thursday 2pm–6pm, Friday 12pm–6pm
- Summer Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–5pm
- Compensation: $26–$32 per hour (based on experience)
