Job DescriptionWe are hiring Door-to-Door Canvassers to join our outreach team in Aurora, Naperville, Oswego, and nearby communities. Canvassers engage residents through face-to-face conversations to share information, build community awareness, and identify interested supporters.
This is a paid position from day one with training provided. No prior canvassing experience is required.
Responsibilities- Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents
- Share information about our mission and local initiatives
- Identify and record interested individuals accurately
- Follow provided scripts and talking points
- Maintain daily outreach records and reports
- Represent the organization positively and respectfully
- Work as part of a team to meet daily outreach goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with people at the door
- Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Prior experience in canvassing, sales, customer service, fundraising, or outreach is a plus but not required
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
