Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food items.
- Follow recipes, preparation instructions, and kitchen standards.
- Set up workstations and organize ingredients before service.
- Assist cooks with assembling and preparing menu items as assigned.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and ingredient rotation.
- Monitor ingredient supplies and notify supervisors when items need replenishing.
- Keep countertops, cooking stations, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitary.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation tools as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
- Complete opening, closing, and general cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food preparation, or restaurant experience is preferred but may not be required.
