Reports To: Restaurant’s Executive and/or Sous Chef
Work Schedule: Varied, flexible, evenings and weekends required. Full-Time positions work 35-40 hours per week. Part-Time positions hours are based on availability.
Summary of Role: Line Cooks work throughout a lunch or dinner service to properly and efficiently prepare all dishes ordered. This is done while professionally communicating with colleagues, maintaining station cleanliness, and following food safety practices.

- 1-2 years of previous high-volume restaurant kitchen experience preferred

- Set up and stock assigned line station accurately and efficiently
- Remain in your station preparing all food ordered throughout assigned shift
- Constant attention to food quality, preparation quality, and plate presentation.

- Perform all side duties and cleaning duties as assigned

- Operate the spray gun which shoots hot water at a high velocity
- Learn the storage place & put away all clean tableware, pots, pans, cooking tools, etc
- Keep the dish room and equipment clean and orderly during your shift
- Safely operate the dish machine; report any functional or mechanical problems to a manager immediately
- Monitor dish machine temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures at all times
- Handle all wares and equipment safely and carefully to prevent breakage
- Perform all side duties and cleaning duties as assigned
- Perform additional duties related to kitchen operations as assigned by managers
- Ability to move quickly, efficiently and safely through the kitchen
