Role and Responsibilities
This position's main priority is to support the flow of production by: Ensuring that product is constantly available for the next department (Cut Department).
You will achieve this by receiving incoming products (interior doors), inspecting doors for damage/defects, and completing orders for processing. Orders are made complete by locating all doors assigned to a single PO (purchase order) and organizing the doors onto a shop cart with the appropriate paperwork. Once orders are complete, they are sent to the Cut Department.
You will also need to:
- Communicate with immediate supervisor on the frequency and type of door defect being identified on an hourly/regular basis.
- Assist in packaging process, when directed to by manager or when team members are out on vacation or sick leave.
- When hourly/daily output targets are set, work with your team members to ensure output targets are achieved.
- Be open to cross training in other departments.
Required Skills:
- Attention to safety at all times and an eye for detail.
- Ability to lift 40-75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude are a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Pallet jack experience
- Forklift experience

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Swing shift
- Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM to 9pm
- No weekends
Pay: $18.00 per hour
