Front Office Receptionist – Medical Clinic

Position Overview
As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Front Office Receptionist plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Schedule
- Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week)
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- No weekends
- 4-day work week (4x10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Interaction
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Direct patients to appropriate staff or departments
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
Administrative Duties
- Verify and enter patient insurance information accurately
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
- Provide accurate information in person, by phone, or via email
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, copying, and data entry
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment
- Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (medical setting preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office and general office equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required (additional office/administrative certification is a plus)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
