What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Technician position at ONE CHOICE APPLIANCE?
Seeking a full time experienced Appliance Technician who is able to troubleshoot all major appliances. Appliances include washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, ranges, microwaves and etc. Must be able to use hand tools (some personal tools required). Appliances will be fixed in customer’s home as well as in shop. Technician should be able to repair or replace defective components found in appliances.
Experience in restaurant equipment, apartment complex/industrial maintenance, electrical & HVAC is preferred but not required.
An EPA license is preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
They must also have good customer service skills and possess a clean driving record, background check and clean drug screening.
Health Insurance available if needed.
All major holidays off with pay after 90 days.
Paid sick and vacation days after 90 days.
No weekend work unless there is a major emergency.
Pay rate ranges from $12 and up while training and then commission based once training has been completed. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
