What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Organist position at ONE Catholic Community?
St. Mary's Parish in Holley is seeking to hire a Church Organist for its Sunday 10:00 AM Mass. This position will involve choosing and preparing the music selections for Mass, arriving approximately one hour before Mass to practice and prepare with the cantor(s) and/or choir, and providing the music during the entire Mass. Being available for occasional special services, for example at Christmas and during Holy Week, is important for this position. Preferred qualifications include experience providing music at Catholic liturgies.
