Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing training and support as needed.
- Oversee the operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, coordinating with warehouse staff for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the assembly line to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing strong mechanical knowledge to resolve problems quickly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of factory operations, including assembly line processes.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
