Senior Digital Designer

ONDO is a venture-backed ethical apparel brand based in New York. We’re looking for a mid to senior level designer to join our in-house creative team. In this role, you’ll plan and execute content creation for social media, while supporting our in-house designers on the brand’s broader creative assets. You’ll bring a sharp eye for typography, color, and composition, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where ideas move quickly from concept to delivery.

This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary position spanning static and motion design. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable taking direction and working autonomously, can balance multiple projects without losing the details, and is excited to help shape how our brand shows up across every touchpoint.

Must be able to commute to our office in Manhattan, New York.

What You’ll Do

• Content Creation: Plan, concept, and execute content for social media across platforms, from single posts to full campaigns.
• Brand Support: Support our Design Lead in producing brand creative assets across digital and print channels.
• Visual Systems: Translate briefs into clear, on-brand visual systems with strong typography, color, and composition.
• Video Production: Edit and color-grade short-form video content for social, ensuring consistency with brand visual standards.
• Asset Management: Maintain and evolve design templates, libraries, and components in Figma to keep production efficient.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, copy, and product partners to deliver assets on tight timelines.
• Iteration: Take feedback and direction in stride, iterate quickly, and contribute ideas in creative reviews.
• Marketing Execution: Owns the marketing calendar and drives end-to-end execution of content plans across ONDO's social media platforms.

What You Bring

• Education: Degree in Design or a related field.
• Experience: 4 years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, and visual systems.
• Technical Skills: Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma.
• Multimedia Expertise: Demonstrated experience in color grading, video editing for social-first content, advanced photo retouching, artwork manipulation, and image extension skills.
• Workflow: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and deliver on deadline.
• Mindset: Comfort taking direction and constructive criticism, as well as working autonomously when needed.
• Portfolio: A portfolio that shows range across social content, brand assets, and motion or video work.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience designing for digital product surfaces.
• Experience building or contributing to design systems and component libraries in Figma.
• Familiarity with motion design, animation, or sound design for short-form video.
• Experience working directly with brand or content strategists in a marketing team.

Expected Salary - $85,000–$100,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
