We’re hiring a hands-on, detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. You’ll help deliver exceptional events and productions by managing equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and providing on-site AV expertise across a variety of settings.

What You'll Do
- Transport, set up, and install AV equipment including cameras, lighting, monitors, speakers, and support gear
- Drive company vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport equipment to event sites (we’ll help you earn your MDOT and Chauffeur’s License if you don’t have it)
- Assist in executing event setups based on layout diagrams and schedules
- Maintain and organize warehouse inventory, ensuring all rental gear is event-ready
- Troubleshoot and test AV systems pre- and post-show to ensure smooth, flawless events
- Build strong working relationships with clients, production teams, and event staff
- Clean, maintain, and occasionally repair AV gear and warehouse equipment
- Safely disassemble and store equipment post-event
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of professional audio visual equipment and event production practices
- Strong understanding of professional audio systems, especially speaker systems, amplifiers, consoles, and signal flow
- Experience with JBL professional PA systems preferred
- Working knowledge of video and lighting systems preferred, with the ability to assist across disciplines when needed
- Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and cabling issues efficiently
- Comfortable working both in a warehouse and onsite at events
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Chauffeur’s License preferred, but not required to start)
- Box truck experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and long event days as needed
- A team player who’s flexible, communicative, and customer-service oriented
- Experience with concert-level audio systems and live event sound production is required
