The Project Planning Analyst (Associate through Senior) is responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing, and evaluating various tasks across all Vegetation Management programs to support organizational goals. This role analyzes and tracks Vegetation Management program data to improve project management processes and overall efficiencies.

Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Plan, analyze, and monitor Vegetation Management program activities to achieve corporate goals.
- Track various contract compliance controls and processes.
- Review and analyze program data and provide relevant program information upon request.
- Maintain a system to track monthly contractor activities and improve visibility of this information.
- Assist in analyzing workload and manpower requirements to help prepare forecasts.
- Support program tracking and contribute to achieving performance metrics.
- Actively participate in meetings with internal work groups and provide program information as needed.
- Make recommendations and assist in developing new processes and system improvements that enhance visibility and ensure compliance with contracted rate structures for Vegetation Management contractors.
- Collaborate effectively with internal work groups and Vegetation Management contractors.
- Monitor, log, and assist with field inquiries and requests.
- Perform all essential responsibilities and functions of the job, including additional assigned requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
- Ability to provide project tracking, including requirements gathering, resource tracking, and project variance updates.
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable information.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new methods, techniques, and software as needed.
- Ability to perform long-range planning for construction projects.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Project Planning Analyst Associate: 1 or more years of related work experience required (preferably in data tracking/analysis, operations, or project/program coordination).
- Project Planning Analyst: 2 or more years of related work experience required.
- Project Planning Analyst: In lieu of above, applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience will be considered.
- Project Planning Analyst Senior: 4 or more years of related work experience required.
- Project Planning Analyst Senior: In lieu of above, applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience will be considered.
- Previous experience in the electric utility industry and (or) in vegetation management is encouraged to apply.
- Successfully gathers, tracks, and communicates program status to all involved parties.
- Effectively supports forecasting and planning of programs and projects.
- Provides accurate, informative, and timely reports.
- Builds successful communication channels and strong relationships across multiple organizations.
