Corporate Strategy Intern (Woodall Rodgers - Downtown Dallas)
As a Corporate Strategy (CS) intern, you’ll gain firsthand experience in the work that shapes the future of the largest utility in Texas. Our CS group is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, deploying incremental capital, monitoring disruption to cash flows and leading our private equity and consulting relationships, engaging with investors and preparation of investor material, and supporting special projects from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Board of Directors.
As an intern, you will contribute to research, financial analysis, and strategic planning initiatives, helping the team evaluate growth opportunities, assess market dynamics, and prepare materials for executive-level discussions. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how strategy is built and executed in the utility sector while developing skills that translate directly to both corporate and public service careers.
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist Intern (Woodall Rodgers - Downtown Dallas)
The HRIS Specialist Intern will utilize the UltiPro Human Capital Management (HCM) system to provide strategic data and information support for the Human Resources (HR) team to best support Oncor’s business initiatives. Activities include providing support that aligns to HR strategies with HCM service delivery and ongoing support of all HR business processes and workflows.
This role will support process and workflow development, organization management, systems analysis, interface and data management, reporting, effective communication and exchange with internal partners and external vendors.
East Distribution Operations Center Intern (Irving, TX)
The Distribution System Operator intern is responsible for overseeing the delivery of electrical power from substation to customer. This role involves monitoring and controlling the distribution system to ensure a reliable and efficient supply of power to customers. The intern must respond to outages, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with distribution crews to quickly restore power in the event of a disruption. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Distribution P&C Engineering Intern (Fort Worth, TX)
The Distribution P&C Engineering Specialist intern installs, tests, maintains and provides analysis for the proper operation of distribution protection, control, monitoring, and automation systems. The role provides technical support to Distribution organizations in developing operational processes, procedures and the development remedial action plans. Their work areas could be in DFW airport, Dallas and Fort Worth downtown networks or anywhere Distribution provide services.
Material Specialist Intern (Midland/Odessa)
The Materials Specialist Intern will process and kit material requests for timely delivery to job sites. This role has direct interaction with engineering, construction, and suppliers to determine needs. This intern maintains appropriate inventory levels, determine what work will be performed by contractors, ensures areas are environmentally compliant, and environmental and governmental records are completed timely and filed according to regulations.
Electrician Intern (Fort Worth, TX)
