Summary
Provide analytical and administrative support to the Distribution Services Business Operations Group to ensure the timely and accurate completion of reports and invoice payments. This position works closely with Business Operations analysts and billing specialists to ensure invoice accuracy while adhering to internal policies and guidelines. The position is also responsible for working with personnel from multiple workgroups such as Construction Services, Power Management and Distribution System (PMDS), and contractor billing staff to resolve billing issues as necessary.

Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Review a high volume of invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Review large data sets such as comparing timesheets against invoices and verifying correct billable units.
- Answer high volume phone calls and emails from vendors and internal groups.
- Ensure contractors comply with contractual terms and conditions related to contractor invoicing.
- Research billing issues for internal and external stakeholders to determine proper resolution.
- Review supporting documentation provided by construction contractors to ensure it matches contractor invoicing.
- Perform accurate data entry of large Microsoft Excel datasets into multiple tracking tools used by the billing group.
- Willing to work outside traditional work hours as needed.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop clear and concise presentations and messages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
- Working knowledge of Oncor systems such as Field Information Management (FIM), Distribution Information System (DIS), Workforce Management Information System (WMIS), and Advanced Customer Information System (ACIS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- 2 or more years of invoicing experience including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, accounting, or payroll is required.
- 2 or more years of experience using electronic billing systems is encouraged to apply.
- Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Learn new systems quickly and train others as needed.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in billing processes and policies for the assigned area.
