What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal AND Weekend Cashier - St. Peters position at Once Upon a Child - St. Peters?
Once Upon a Child is now hiring SEASONAL cashiers. Our "season" starts when the weather changes and - we think - that is about to be soon! Ha! If you love people and the cute things they buy for their kids, this is the perfect role for you. You'll keep the lines moving as we sell thousands of items each day so the rest of our team can focus on keeping the other wheels of our operation turning. This is a seasonal position through the holidays. Top performers can transition into long-term roles.
We have TWO separate employment opportunities.
Option 1: Seasonal Cashier
Boom! Like flexibility? Love this! We do our thing 7 days a week. Shifts can be from 4 to 8 hours depending on your availability and will be between 10a - 6p. $16/hour plus our amazing 50% discount!
Option 2: Weekends Cashier (plus):
Weekends free? Saturday AND Sunday shifts (Shifts can be from 4 to 8 hours depending on your availability and will be between 10a - 6p). $17/hour. Additional hours also available on other days! Same great 50% discount.
These positions require excellent communication skills while also being able to process transactions efficiently. There may be other supporting tasks to complete if/when there aren't actually any sales to ring ;)
Once Upon a Child is an exciting children's store that buys and sells gently used and new apparel, equipment, furniture and toys.
