Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selection, including demonstrating features and benefits of various items
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Conduct product demos when necessary to showcase items’ quality and features
• Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked by performing stocking and merchandising tasks

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse community effectively
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
