Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to security incidents, conflicts or emergencies with effective conflict management techniques
- Conduct patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate response to medical emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is a plus
- Strong ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while managing conflicts effectively
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
