Our Client, the nation's largest private academic plastic surgery practice serving Long Island and the New York metro area. is currently seeking a Medical Assistant.
The Medical Assistant will
provide quality patient care by assisting our physicians within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
• Assist physician with patient examinations and office procedures (suture
removal, set-up for minor surgeries, etc.)
• Clean examination rooms
• Ensure examination rooms are fully stocked
• Sterilize equipment
• Record patient and testing information
• Manage patient flow
• Dressing changes
• Logging specimens
Requirements
Education and Experience:
• MUST be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
• MUST have experience working within the Cosmetic and Reconstructive
Surgery field
• Ability to speak English and Spanish (preferred)
• 2 years’ experience working as a medical assistant
• Experience working with a fast paced environment
• Maintain flexibility within schedule
