We are currently hiring an experienced Code Vessel Welder to join our growing fabrication team. This position is responsible for welding pressure vessels and related components while meeting ASME Code requirements. We're looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work, works safely, and thrives in a team environment.
Responsibilities-
Perform code welding on pressure vessels and related components.

Weld in accordance with ASME Section VIII, AWS, API, ANSI, and company quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and isometric drawings.

Layout, fit, and fabricate vessel components prior to welding.

Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.

Repair weld defects identified through visual inspection, UT, or X-ray testing.

Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

Use oxy-fuel cutting torches and plasma cutting equipment.

Safely connect and operate oxygen and fuel gas systems.

Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts as needed.

Work from ladders and scaffolding when required.

Report quality concerns and safety issues to the Shop Foreman.

Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Must be able to pass a 6G Code Welding Test.

Previous experience welding ASME Code pressure vessels required.

Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, and ANSI standards.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication prints and vessel layouts.

Experience repairing welds after inspection when necessary.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
