Position Title: Accounting Clerk / Office Admin

Position Type: Part Time

Reports To: Controller

The Accounts Payable Clerk / Office Administrator is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role focuses on accurate and timely processing of accounts payable while also providing general office administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling accounting tasks with office coordination responsibilities.

This position is based in the Onboard Dynamics’ Bend, Oregon office and is subject to a background and drug and alcohol check.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable / Account Receivable / General Accounting Support

  • Process vendor invoices and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized digital and physical AP files
  • Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
  • Support basic general ledger entries as needed

Office Administration

  • Provide general administrative support to the office and leadership team
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Assist with filing and document management
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment

Coordination & Compliance

  • Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
  • Assist with audit and documentation requests as needed
  • Support process improvements for AP, AR and office operations

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Utilize and optimize accounting software.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support system integrations and reporting enhancements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience: 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience; Prior office administration experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software; strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong time management and organizational abilities; clear communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
