Position Objective:

To establish and maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the facility, following the established S.O.P's and instructions from area managers.

Responsibilities:

• Assure cleanliness of offices, cafeteria, meeting rooms, break rooms, rest rooms and other work spaces.
• Assure cleanliness of clean room and lab space following written and oral instructions and SOPs including gowning procedures and chemical use.
• Fill out required recordkeeping associated with cleaning frequency and inspection.
• Follow written and oral cleaning instructions.
• Make safe and effective use of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Report facility related problems to management as they are found to occur.
• Maintain cleaning supplies.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping
• Housekeeping experience in a medical facility preferred
