Roofing Project Manager

We’re seeking a Project Manager with deep experience in both commercial and residential roofing to join our dynamic operations team. You will take the reins on multiple projects, ensuring they’re executed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with clients, crews, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage every stage of the roofing process—from pre-construction planning and estimating to final inspection.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full project lifecycle for roofing projects (residential & commercial)
• Coordinate materials, schedules, permits, inspections, and crews
• Maintain tight control over project budgets, timelines, and quality
• Lead jobsite meetings, conduct regular walkthroughs, and resolve onsite issues
• Ensure safety standards are met and enforced
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
• Provide detailed project estimates, scopes of work, and assist in bid preparation
• Collaborate with estimators and preconstruction team to ensure seamless handoff to field execution
• Collaborate with internal departments (scheduling, procurement, fabrication, etc.)
• Report project status and performance metrics to senior leadership

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the roofing industry
• Proven track record in both commercial flat systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, EPDM, etc.) and residential steepslope systems (composition shingles, tile, metal, etc.)
• Strong estimating background and ability to develop accurate project scopes and budgets
• Experience managing multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously

Skills & Traits:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient with project management and estimating software (experience with AccuLynx, Bluebeam, and Excel is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and takeoffs
• Highly organized and detailoriented
• Solutionoriented and calm under pressure

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

IRNS was formed to create a leading roofing provider across the select geographies in the intermountain region. The company’s revenue goal is at least $200M over the next few years.
