Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Operates diesel, gasoline, and electric equipment on all terrains and at all speeds Operates all types of golf course machinery, including mowers and manual powered equipment Responsbile for checking and maintaining all equipment fluid levels and tire pressure Works in a timely manner to accomplish daily course assignments, including but not limited to: mowing, raking, edging bunkers and cart paths, aerification equipment, tractors, loaders, blowers, and pruning equipment Identifies and distinguishes the difference between gas, diesel, and electric machines Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW standards Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills) Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous grounds and equipment experience preferred Skills and Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and understand English Ability to follow written and oral instructions Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills Honesty and integrity Self-starter Team player Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion QualificationsColen Built Development provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
