Based on the needs and flow of our business, your time will be split between delivering orders and working in our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Maintain organization and stock in the warehouse
- Pick outgoing and re-stock incoming orders
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Skills:
- Experience operating a variety of delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks
- Familiarity with using pallet jacks for loading and unloading cargo
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
Note: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
