Liquor Sales Associate - Part Time

Job Summary
As a Liquor Sales Associate at On The Rocks, you'll be the face of our liquor store. You'll assist customers with purchases, restock products, maintain a clean and organized store, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with purchases
• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
• Restock shelves and maintain product organization, including the walk-in beer cave
• Monitor and verify IDs to ensure all customers are 21
• Keep the liquor store and front desk area clean and presentable
• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Handle basic closing duties (trash, sweeping, light mopping)
• Follow all state and company policies regarding alcohol/tobacco sales

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math concepts is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for selling products and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• 21 years old with valid ID
• Willing to undergo a background check
