Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education program. In this role, you will support teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior.
- Provide attentive care to children.
- Help with classroom activities such as arts and crafts, storytime, play-based learning, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is preferred but not required
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
- classroom management skills with the ability to promote positive behavior
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including in toddlers, and preschoolers
- communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members
