Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle food service as needed, including food handling in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; restock as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for banquet or catering events when required.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies while serving drinks in a nightclub or bar setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and promote specials effectively.
- Familiarity with cash register systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service regulations.
