We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Servers to deliver outstanding service in our bustling restaurant. As a vital member of our team, you will create memorable dining experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service to our guests. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and attention to presentation standards.
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales recording.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Experience with fine dining or casual dining settings that emphasize customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or busser is a plus.
