Full-Time | $30-40/hr DOE | $750 Sign-On Bonus (ISA Certified)
On The Block Landscape & Tree Service is seeking a skilled and motivated ISA Certified Arborist to join our Boise-based team. This role is ideal for a tree care professional experienced in pruning, removals, rigging, and full crew operations who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform professional tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding
- Execute proper rigging and controlled lowering techniques
- Climb and work aloft using approved climbing systems (mandatory)
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and climbing systems
- Maintain organized, safe job sites and complete thorough cleanup
- Support crew productivity while adhering to ISA and ANSI standards
Qualifications:
- Current ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- Minimum 4 years of tree care experience (pruning and rigging required)
- Tree climbing experience required
- Experience operating aerial lifts preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied outdoor conditions
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits:
- $30-$40 per hour DOE
- $750 Sign-On Bonus for ISA Certified Arborists
- Bonus pay program after 6 months
- Paid personal days and holidays after 90 days
- Monday–Friday schedule (38–44 hours per week)
