Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Assist customers with selecting firearms, ammunition, optics, accessories, and related merchandise based on their needs.
- Explain product features, safe handling practices, and maintenance recommendations.
- Process firearm sales in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Accurately complete and review required ATF paperwork, including ATF Form 4473, and ensure all required documentation is properly maintained according to federal regulations and company policies.
- Verify customer identification and eligibility as required by law and assist with the completion of required background check procedures.
- Maintain accurate firearm acquisition and disposition records in accordance with ATF regulations and company procedures.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process sales transactions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales displays.
- Receive, unpack, and stock inventory.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone.
- Promote a safe, welcoming, and professional shopping environment.
- Follow all company policies regarding firearm handling, storage, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store operations.
Pay: From $13.73 per hour
