What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Route Driver / Customer Service Representative position at On-Site Shredding?
As a Part-Time Route Driver, you'll operate one of our mobile shredding trucks, travel to customer locations, securely collect confidential documents, shred them on-site, and provide outstanding customer service.
Every day is a little different, and you'll work independently while representing our company in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company shredding truck on scheduled routes.
- Service commercial customers throughout Connecticut and Westchester County.
- Collect secure document containers.
- Operate the mobile shredding equipment after training.
- Complete required paperwork and electronic route information.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with medical card.
- able to pass drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Able to lift and move containers weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic smartphone/tablet skills.
- Previous delivery, route driving, moving, warehouse, or service experience is helpful but not required.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
