This role is responsible for the timely pickup, delivery, and basic setup of temporary climate control equipment, temporary fencing, and water delivery services.
This is a dynamic position perfect for someone with a "can-do" attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.
- Customer Excellence: Represent the brand professionally while managing work orders and on-site service.
- Sanitation & Logistics: Execute daily routes, including the pickup, delivery, and sanitation of equipment.
- Climate Control: Assist in the installation and removal of temporary heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Fencing: Install and remove temporary fencing with precision and stability.
- Water Services: Deliver and fill water tanks safely and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Safety & Quality: Adhere to high safety standards and PPE requirements while executing technical maintenance at customer sites.
- Transportation: Safely load, transport, and offload equipment. Maintain a clean truck and professional appearance while communicating clearly with dispatch.
- Technical Setup: Test and stage climate control units for deployment; install systems according to job specifications.
- Site Management: Install fencing lines with precision; inspect materials for damage and resolve on-site layout issues with customers.
- Maintenance: Perform basic repairs on plumbing (water heaters, winterizing trailers) and carpentry (molding/flooring) as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to hire.
- Experience: 1 years of light maintenance background and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with hand/power tools; ability to diagnose/repair basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
- Driving Ability: Confident in navigating using maps/routing directions and capable of pulling a trailer both forward and backward.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, snow, rain, and ice). You must be able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 150 lbs occasionally.
- Climb in and out of large trucks (Ford 550 size) 30–60 times per day.
- Walk on uneven terrain (gravel, snow, construction sites).
- Work in tight areas within trailers and climb stairs/ladders frequently.
