Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Chicago-based team. This role is ideal for a Tech who thrives in a fast-paced, on-the-road environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site AOG maintenance support at airports throughout the Chicago region and surrounding Midwest
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft systems under time-sensitive conditions
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations
- Coordinate directly with Maintenance Control, flight crews, and customers
- Complete accurate and timely maintenance documentation and work orders
- Maintain company vehicle, tooling, and inventory to operational standards
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required)
- 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience (AOG experience preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with business jets (Bombardier, Gulfstream, Textron/Citation, Embraer preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make sound maintenance decisions
- Willingness to travel and work flexible/on-call schedules
- Valid driver’s license
- Passport preferred (for potential international travel)
- Proficient computer skills
