About On Point Tutoring

Established in 2012, On Point Tutoring (OPT) provides personalized academic tutoring and SAT/ACT test preparation to students throughout South Florida. We have worked with more than 3,000 students and families and built our reputation around excellent service, strong relationships, and measurable results.

About the Role

We are looking for a confident, personable, and motivated Sales Representative to help prospective clients understand our services and get started with OPT.

This is a phone- and relationship-based sales position. You will speak with prospective clients, learn about their needs, explain our services, conduct consultations, make outbound follow-up calls, and help qualified leads move forward.

You do not need previous experience in education or tutoring. We will train you on our programs, services, and sales process. We are primarily looking for someone with strong communication skills, good judgment, professionalism, and the ability to build relationships and confidently move conversations forward.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new leads by phone, email, and other communication channels
• Conduct consultations to understand client needs
• Explain OPT's services and recommend appropriate options
• Make outbound sales and follow-up calls
• Convert qualified leads into new clients
• Follow up consistently throughout the sales process
• Build strong relationships with prospective and current clients
• Re-engage previous clients and identify additional sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate notes and records in our CRM
• Work with the OPT team to ensure a smooth client experience
• Contribute to sales, conversion, and client retention goals

Who We're Looking For

Strong candidates will have:

• 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, account management, hospitality, client relations, or another customer-facing role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A confident and professional phone presence
• Comfort making outbound calls and following up with prospective clients
• The ability to build rapport quickly and guide clients toward a decision
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Comfort learning new software and CRM systems
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Previous education or tutoring experience is not required. We provide training on OPT's services, programs, systems, and processes.

What Success Looks Like

Successful Sales Representatives are comfortable speaking with people, asking good questions, following up consistently, and confidently helping prospective clients take the next step.

You should be able to balance strong sales instincts with excellent customer service and make clients feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.
