Position: Self Storage Facility Manager
Overview
We are seeking a motivated, customer service oriented individual to join our team as manager of our self storage facility in Gorham, Maine. As the facility manager, you will directly impact the success of the business through the application of your skills in sales, marketing, and customer service. This position is ideal for the candidate who enjoys seeing their efforts translate into meaningful achievement as you manage our facility through the lease up process and beyond.
Performance Objectives
The successful candidate will:
· Market the facility through multiple platforms including community outreach, website optimization, social media, and other methods as appropriate
· Convert a high percentage of leads to sales by connecting with prospective customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
· Manage the customer relationship from move in to move out. This includes a variety of focus areas including sales, customer communications, dispute resolution, collections, evictions, and generally ensuring an overall excellent customer experience.
· Ensure the facility is maintained to top standards through daily inspections, reporting of maintenance issues, and maintaining a clean and orderly facility throughout
Education
· High school diploma required, post-secondary degree preferred
Requirements
· 3 years of experience in a customer service and sales oriented role
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· Solid computer skills
· Self motivated with the ability to perform job duties independently
· Ability to deploy social media for marketing purposes a definite plus
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
