Position Summary
We’re seeking a skilled and personable Ultrasound Technologist to join our mobile clinical team. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound screenings across various anatomical areas, educating patients on findings, and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers to guide next steps in care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound screenings in:
- Carotid, Thyroid, Aorta, Major Abdominal Organs, Pelvic Organs
- Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients
- Collaborate with APPs to support clinical decision-making
- Document screenings accurately per On Duty Health protocols
- Travel to onsite locations (fire stations, police departments, city facilities, corporate worksites)
- Set up, break down, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
- Train additional sonographers as needed
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and professional boundaries
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse populations
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational success
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography Program – Required
- Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- RDMS – Required
- Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN, Breast (BR), Adult Echo (AE) – Preferred
- ACLS – Preferred
Experience:
- Clinical or mobile ultrasound experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to scan adult anatomy in required categories
- Experience in fast-paced or mobile healthcare settings preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of sonography procedures and anatomy
- Independent work ethic with strong clinical judgment
- Comfort working in varied onsite environments
- Willingness to travel (including overnight)
- Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 40 lbs)
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
