What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Plumbing Engineer position at On Demand Technical Staffing?
The Senior Plumbing Engineer will play a key role in the design and execution of plumbing systems for both new construction and existing facilities. Project types include mission critical environments, high-rise commercial buildings, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional facilities.
Responsibilities
· Lead the design of plumbing systems across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mission critical facilities
· Develop designs for plumbing and piping systems, including sanitary waste and vent systems, storm drainage, natural gas, domestic water, and specialty systems such as water reuse and medical gas
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and construction teams throughout project lifecycles
· Participate in construction administration activities including site visits, field reports, RFIs, and submittal reviews
· Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing systems and support due diligence efforts
· Serve as Engineer of Record for plumbing system designs when applicable
· Interface with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
Qualifications
· 12 years of experience in plumbing or mechanical engineering
· Strong background in the design of plumbing & piping systems
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
· Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) preferred
· Professional Engineer (PE) License
· Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
