Bilingual Crew Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Manager to oversee daily production operations, ensuring equipment, materials, and personnel are functioning at optimal levels. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining product quality, and supporting team development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and ensure materials are prepared and organized
• Ensure machine crew is staffed, trained, and ready for production
• Monitor and maintain quality standards, including submitting product samples and checks
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues as they arise
• Lead production changeovers and ensure proper procedures are followed
• Support and develop team members through training and performance feedback
• Collaborate with supervisors and leadership on waste reduction and process improvement
• Participate in daily production meetings and report performance metrics
• Maintain accurate end-of-shift reporting
• Step into various crew roles as needed to support operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Spanish-speaking (bilingual English/Spanish) preferred

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, airborne particles, and noise
• Hearing protection and other PPE required in designated areas

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 20 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally (team lift required over 50 lbs)
• Frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and use of hands/arms
• Occasional squatting, kneeling, and reaching
