Maintenance Tech

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician is to assist in ensuring the facility integrity of multiple buildings, consisting of multiple residential inpatient, and outpatient facilities.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 
  Performing routine maintenance around the buildings, such as fixing structural damage (window, wall, doors)
• 
  Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• 
  Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• 
  Maintaining building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• 
  Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• 
  Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• 
  Painting the building when old paint is chipped or faded
• 
  Landscaping
• 
  Snow and ice removal

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Generally versed in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and typical building maintenance, landscaping
• 
  Experience with the use of power tools
• 
  Valid drivers license. Must be insurable on company vehicle insurance
• 
  Must work well with team as well as work independently
• 
  Respectful of co-workers, clients and customers within the facilities or surroundings area
• 
  Maintaining confidentiality of those we provide services to.
