Salary: Company Overview:On Demand Counseling is Ohios top provider of medication assisted treatment services (MAT) for those working toward recovery from opioid or alcohol misuse. We offer a variety of services including one-on-one counseling, telehealth, group therapy, and supportive services. Our team is passionate about addiction treatment and supporting patients through their journey to recovery.Position Overview:Provide support to our clients who are in recovery housing and working during the day. Assist clients as they continue their recovery journey when they return from work. Help make a positive change in a positive and healing environment. Position will provide group and individual therapy.Responsibilities:Ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of On Demand.Make referrals for other mental health / higher level of care.Act as an advocate for program participants with courts, schools, treatment centers, and other services as appropriate in order to make referrals and conduct follow-ups.Provide individual counseling, engage clients, family sessions (if asked).Provide outreach and case management to primary clients.Prepare written reports, regular case dictation and summaries for consultation according to program standards and professional ethics.Participate in curriculum development and supervision of clients.Participates in staffing meetings.Demonstrate the ability to effectively function as an On Demand team member.Effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently and possess strong organizational skillsExercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters.Must have a passion for helping people and an empathy for those recovering from addiction.Qualifications:Combination of experience and education normally represented by High School Diploma with 1-2 years relevant work experience required.
